About Us
The Ares Group started as a joint venture between George Mason and Hanz Friedland, each a veteran of the Naval Special Warfare community. Hanz went on to pursue a career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation while George pursued a career with a National Level Intelligence Agency. Both were reunited while pursuing their legal degrees; fueled by a disdain of bureaucratic organizations and policies which place end users in harms way the Ares Group was formed. Legal counsel is now available in the D.C. Metro Area, Miami, New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, Baghdad, Durban and London.
